We are now looking for a Game Designer to join our magical adventure in Star Stable Online and create the most amazing content for our players in the Jorvik world. 

As a game designer at Star Stable...

  • You design, create and implement our next adventure or feature, taking into account our players and our business goals, owning the associated writing, scripting and balancing.
  • You prototype mechanics and gameplay systems to improve the quality and variety of activities available for players.
  • You work in a cross-functional team, together with artists, programmers and animators.
  • You share your experiences and grow in your role and contribute to improving pipelines and processes as well as the craft development.
  • You identify opportunities and find solutions, communicate and collaborate to tackle any obstacles and make sure we can offer our players the best possible experience! 

To thrive in this role, we believe that ...

  • You have experience as a game designer with a broad skill set, and a positive, self-driven mindset.
  • You are used to working with different game engines.
  • You have significant experience with commercial scripting languages, and the ability to learn new ones.
  • You can create clear & complete game design documentation for game content & features.
  • You know how to test and debug your own creations, and you are used to owning the quality of what you deliver.
  • Are master on how to communicate your ideas and collaborating with others.
  • You’re user-focused, passionate, resourceful and solutions-oriented.
