We just celebrated our 10th anniversary and our Day 1 mission - to inspire girls and young women, to celebrate the power of sisterhood, and to create a more inclusive gaming environment.

We have become a multi-channel entertainment company; with an independent record label, short-form animations, book series, comics, and mobile apps. Currently, we’re on an adventure to scale our impact in the world with several new games and product lines in development across desktop/mobile.

The team

You will have a chance to be part of building microservices to support our games, websites, and launchers. You will have a lot of freedom and possibility in improving our tech and ways of working.

A look at what you would do

• Develop our services to continuously bring new features and products to our players.

• Use modern tech such as AWS, Docker, Github Actions, Serverless, Python, Go.

• Continuously improve how we develop and how we work.

 A look at what we have done in the last quarter 

• Released our new website starstable.com using Next.js.

• Supported the launch of the game on mobile by building microservices and launcher for iOS.

• Rewritten and redesigned large parts of our legacy codebase to microservices.

Skills and requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.

• Experienced with microservices and modern backend development.

• Familiar with: Python, AWS, Terraform.
