The position

We are seeking a proactive Localization Coordinator to join our team for a parental leave cover (1+ year). In this role, you will be crucial in supporting our localization efforts, focusing on coordinating translation projects from initiation to delivery within a fast-paced gaming environment.

What you’ll do

• Coordinate end-to-end translation requests and deliveries. 

• Prioritize tasks, assign resources (internal/external), and track progress.

• Prepare and review source files for localization.

• Manage translation queries, update style guides, glossaries, and reference materials.

• Investigate and resolve translation issues/bugs.

• Contribute to localization tools and workflow improvements. 

We think you

• 2+ years of experience in localization, with demonstrable project coordination or project management responsibilities.

• Proficiency in MemoQ.

• Working knowledge of Jira for task management and bug tracking.

• Fluency in English.

• Fluency in one or more additional Star Stable languages. 

• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite). 

Bonus if you have 

• University degree in translation, linguistics, communication, or a related field.

• Previous experience as a translator. 

• Experience working with Gridly. 

• Prior experience in localization coordination within the gaming industry.

• A genuine interest in and knowledge of our game
